Hello everyone! Here is a little bit about me and how I got here!

I worked for 10yrs as a science teacher inside a traditional classroom, I started my teaching career in Hartford CT teaching in Hartford Public High school with 9th graders. After 4 years working with 9th graders, I took a position at the same school utilizing a federal grant program to help students who were overage and under credit gain credits outside of the traditional classroom. In this program we used a mix of online learning portals and some in class lessons in a time were online learning portals were just beginning. It was a big learning curve for me and has been nice to watch the progress in online learning portals since.

After that I moved back to NY, were I was originally from, and taught for 5 years in the NYC school system. I taught both in the South Bronx in a 6-12 school and Brooklyn in a High School. I taught a variety of subjects from Earth Science, to Middle School Science, to Chemistry and Forensics.

With the Birth of my Second child I found myself staying home to be with my kids. Now that both of my children are older, I am getting back into the swing of education by working as an online teacher and creating educational materials utilizing google apps for all of you!
